Mid-Continent Kennel Club recognizes the importance of sharing our love of dogs with children.

Fostering guardians of our pure bred dogs, promoting responsible ownership and instilling the values of sportsmanship are all a part of the Junior Handling program of the American Kennel Club. 

Mid-Continent will be offering Junior Handling classes starting January 7th at 7pm and conclude at 8 p.m. followed by refreshments at Companion Dog School of Tulsa. Contact 296-7176. Classes will be offered free of charge.  Everything from stacking and gaiting your dog to what not to wear and how to fill out an entry will be covered.  Juniors in need of a dog to practice with may reserve a dog for the evening.  All dogs must have proof of current vaccinations.  To reserve a spot for your Junior please call Lori Finlayson at 296 7176.
