Dedicated to Responsible Dog Ownership

Mid-Continent Kennel Club is a regular contributor to a variety of Tulsa area rescue organizations such as the SPCA and the Humane Society of Tulsa. The club participates annually in the “Paws in the Park” festivities, as well as contributing funds. Proceeds from the silent auction go to the Tulsa SPCA. MCKC sponsors a cage in the mobile adoption van. MCKC additionally contributes to OSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Take the Lead, Central States Junior Handler Scholarship Fund, the Tulsa Dog Parks, and contributed to the purchase of six beds for the Tulsa Animal Shelter. This year’s four day Tulsa Roundup Dog Shows will benefit the Canine Health Foundation.  The show will include several health clinics during the competition. Numerous other area and national organizations benefit from the hard work and dedication of MCKC members.  MCKC also sponsors a Children’s Art Show at the Dog Show in an effort to bring better understanding to children of the responsibilities of owning a dog.  MCKC offers classes for children to learn how to show in AKC Junior Handler classes.  MCKC actively seeks to improve responsible dog ownership in the Tulsa area and seeks to recruit new members involved in the exciting world of dog shows, trials, and events.
