For the past several years, Mid-Continent Kennel Club has sponsored an art show for children. The art show benefits teachers and students and enriches their understanding of the needs of their dogs. Themes vary from year to year, but they center on our love for our dogs and how to be a responsible owner.
Teachers can enter their student’s art work by filling out an entry form and having students obtain their parents permission and signature. Students can win ribbons and monetary awards, while their teachers can win prize money for Best in Show Art in two categories. The Best T Shirt Art is also awarded a prize and then shirts are printed with the winner and sold at the show. The different age group winners will be published in the Fall Show catalog.
